Rehobeth Global Methodist  is fully committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.  In order to achieve this mission, we strive to teach not only by word to others, but to live a holy life as an example. We each work toward "perfection in Christ" as commanded by Jesus Christ in Matthew 5:48 (NRSV) - "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." 

It is important, that we each reach out to those around us, in Christian love, fellowship, service, and as teaching/examples of God's Spirit and His will for us to be ambassadors for Him.  Rehobeth has a long and strong history, of helping and supporting the community of Carthage and the county of Panola with financial support in areas of: Area Food Ministries, Rehab Facilities, Community Service Groups (Lions Club International, Shriners, Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, Rotary Club International just to name a few). Since the beginning of project "Book Blessings" 5 years ago, Rehobeth Global Methodist Church  has supported this annual project with other churches and groups in the community. In 2023, Rehobeth alone,contributed over $1,300 dollars for the purchase of books for the Kindergarten and First Grade children of the county school systems. 

Each February, Rehobeth along with our sister church Allison Chapel in Fairplay, host a speaker from the Carthage area Gideons International group for an annual update, of how the Gideons are servicing the area and world with providing bibles free of charge. In 2023, Rehobeth members provides over $600 in donations to the Gideons for this great Missionary work by these dedicated Christians.

The Womens Mission Group of Rehobeth, known as "Women of Faith", work to seek out and support the needs of community, state, and national projects each year that will assist in making new disciples for Christ.
